Our team is committed to delivering quality work:
  • Installing brick according to code, including adding weep holes for water drainage, bending brick ties for stability, and installing lintels above openings.
  • Following plan specifications to ensure precision.
  • Laying brick in a running course pattern for consistency.
  • Properly installing door thresholds, window sills, and standard window and door soldier courses.
  • Disposing of waste and trash properly (if a dumpster is onsite).
  • Covering doors, windows, and patios to prevent mortar staining.
  • Designing custom features such as brick steps, interior arches, fireplaces, and outdoor kitchens.
  • Supplying all necessary equipment (materials provided only if specified).
  • Maintaining strict safety measures to protect your home.
Before we begin, we require the following:
  • A walkthrough with you after the framing is complete to ensure alignment with your vision and needs (brick pricing may change based on any adjustments).
  • Installation of windows and doors (ensure brick orders are placed around 6 weeks in advance, depending on selection and quantity).
  • Installed brick ties (framers usually handle this; if not, we can do it for an additional fee).
  • Brick, mortar, and masonry sand (for white mortar, we recommend using white sand for the best results).
  • Lintels for doors and windows with corresponding measurements.
  • Access to water and electricity (if unavailable, we can arrange alternatives).
  • A passed framing inspection, if required by local codes.

We will provide you with a projected timeframe for completion, depending on weather conditions (we avoid working in rain or with wet bricks, as it can compromise quality) and the availability of all materials onsite.

Once you have an estimated delivery date for materials, let us know so we can add your project to our schedule. If not, there may be a delay of 1-2 weeks before we can begin.

As a tip, drive around and take note of brick textures, joint types, and brick/mortar color combinations on other homes. These details can significantly impact the look of your home. If you find a style you like, take photos, and we’ll work to match your vision.

We know this might seem like a lot of steps, but it will make the construction process smoother. Let us take care of the brickwork while you focus on enjoying your new home.
